Sabre, the kind-hearted boy from St Joseph\u2019s Bardon,<\/a> has been recognised through the Young Achievers Awards as a nominee, for his project \u201cParcels of Hope\u201d in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMummy, I want to let the boys and girls on the farms know that I care.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

At the tender age of five, Sabre thought of doing something for children in the country\u2019s drought-affected areas and let them \u201cknow that we care.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sabre Fazel started “City to Country – Parcels of Hope”, which invited Brisbane children to make a gift parcel with a letter and a return self-addressed envelope for the country child to reply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His project delivered a total of 500 parcels to children attending School of the Air in the districts of Charleville and Longreach.<\/p>\n\n\n

Sabre Fazel was recently presented as a Nominee in The University of Queensland <\/a>Create Change Award by The Honourable Di Farmer, Minister for Child Safety, Youth and Women and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence, at the 2019 Seven News Young Achiever Awards Presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
