Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car and killed at Currumbin Waters this afternoon. Preliminary information indicates that the 89-year-old man was crossing Guineas Creek Road around 3pm, when he was struck by a car. The man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
